Concepts and adidas Team Up For A Relaxing “Shiatsu” Energy Boost

Concepts and adidas Team Up For A Relaxing “Shiatsu” Energy Boost

Before the Ultra Boost became one of the most well-known sneaker silhouettes in the world, there was the Energy Boost. adidas’s first Boost sneaker has largely been overshadowed by other Boost silhouettes over the last few years, but now it’s set to see a moment in the collaborative spotlight, as Concepts is releasing a special “Shiatsu” Energy Boost that nods to Asian culture via the jade stone and traditional Shiatsu massages.

Adapting a classic jade and white color palate that’s reminiscent of the classic adidas EQT line, the shoes feature a white mesh as the base, while accents arrive via a translucent midfoot and heel cage with mint green three stripe detailing. Mint green laces add another smooth pop of color, and marbled green detailing arrives on the outsole as well. Cushioning is provided by a full-length Boost midsole, and the shoe is completed with a green terry cloth sockliner and special green patterned insole. The shoe will also be accompanied by a special box containing a nail file and lotion-and if you head to a Concepts store for your pair, a green Adilette sandal that features white and green terry cloth detailing on the strap.

The “Shiatsu” Energy Boost will be available in Concepts stores and on the Concepts webstore July 21st, with a retail price of $200 USD.
