adidas Originals And C.P. Company Team Up For A Soccer-Inspired Collaboration

For years, European soccer fans have paired adidas footwear and C.P. Company—a brand created by by Stone Island founder Massimo Osti in 1971—garments together to create a unique style that’s known in the street culture history books as “Casual.” Featuring a sleek and streamlined aesthetic, the look has been running strong in Europe for almost four decades. Now the two staple “Casual” brands have come together for the first time ever on a capsule collection of footwear and apparel.

The collection’s focal point is a re-worked take on the adidas Kamanda, which arrives in dark green and light brown. The classic adidas Samba also makes an appearance in three colors: grey, navy, and red, and the Marathon arrives in a stately combo of black and blue, completing the footwear. The collaborative kicks are also accompanied by a full collection of apparel, the stand-out piece of which is an adidas “Explorer” jacket—an updated take on the famous C.P. Company goggle jacket. The full collaborative collection is set to release August 24th on adidas.com and at select Three Stripes retailers.
