Nike Adds Metal Studs To The Air Max 95 NRG “Jacket Pack”

Nike Adds Metal Studs To The Air Max 95 NRG “Jacket Pack”

After appearing swathed in two new reflective all-over print graphics earlier this week, Nike’s Air Max 95 is receiving another fresh iteration—this time with metal studs providing the detailing. Part of an upcoming “Jacket Pack” alongside the Air Max 97 and Vapormax 2, the shoe’s most unique feature arrives via the aforementioned metal studs on both the lateral and medial side of the heel, a possible nod to classic leather biker jackets. The upper features an interesting combo of materials, as the side panels opt for a combination of smooth and tumbled leather while a tweed cotton appears on the toebox and throat. A small red Swoosh provides just enough branding, and silver hits on both the tongue badge and lace tips add a little more metal to the jacket-inspired look. The shoe is then completed with a simple black midsole, Air Max cushioning unit, and outsole. Enjoy a full set of images for these unique 95s below, and expect them to release August 29th at EU retailers.
