Footpatrol Unveils Their adidas Consortium 4D Collaboration

adidas Futurecraft technology is unlike anything else on the market today. A cushioning system created from light, air, and unique struts that can be tuned for extremely specific cushioning, it maximizes energy return for the wearer — and provides an instantly recognizable look to boot. The Three Stripes’ Consortium division has joined forces with four highly regarded retailers across the globe — Sneakersnstuff, Invincible, Footpatrol, and KITH — for special takes on the new tech, and Footpatrol is next up for a release, with their special carbon green take on the CONSORTIUM4D project that’s inspired by color theory. The shoe utilizes the color wheel as a reference point to select various shades of green that combine seamlessly for a tonal take on the tech, while a touch of light contrast is provided by the mint green Futurecraft midsole. The shoes are serving as part of the London Design Festival — with a special exhibition at 15 Bateman Street in London the 21st and 22nd — and will release September 21st at Footpatrol’s London outpost and webstore for £400 (roughly $525 USD). Enjoy a first look at the next-generation kicks below, and head over to the exhibit this weekend if you’re in London town.
