The Nike Zoom Fly Sp GYAKUSOU Collection Releases October 4th

Since its commencement back in 2010, Nike’s GYAKUSOU line has merged Nike’s latest and greatest performance technology together with the sui generis stylings of UNDERCOVER founder Jun Takahashi, who’s responsible for the UNDERCOVER React Element 87s and has added his touch to everything from the Nike Free to technical lightweight jackets. Now Takahashi — an avid runner himself — and Nike are now set to present a three-pack of brand new GYAKUSOU Zoom Fly SPs. Although the shoe’s sporty base — translucent stretch upper, racing stripe detailing and thick Lunarlon midsole — is largely left intact, they don’t lack any of the Japanese designer’s avant-garde detailing, which arrives via a large crossbones-style graphic by the medial collar and GYAKUSOU/UNDERCOVER text branding on the midsole. Releasing in a black, a navy blue, and a royal blue, all three shoes opt for a mostly tonal aesthetic, and each is completed with a vibrant hit of color on the outsole. Check out all three of the new Zoom Flys right here and look for each to drop on Nike.com and at select Swoosh Brand stockists October 6th.
