The Nike SB Dunk High Gets Completely Deconstructed

The Nike SB Dunk High Gets Completely Deconstructed

Virgil Abloh’s Off-White x Nike collection has popularized a deconstructed aesthetic around the entire sneaker industry. While – understandably – Abloh’s tantalizing creations are held at a higher echelon than the rest, we have seen deconstructed vibes adorn plenty of other new models the likes of the SB Dunk Low, the Vans SK8-Hi, and now the SB Dunk High. Done up in a clean fall-ready combination of Black, Velvet Brown, and Peat Moss with exposed tongue foam in the exact same style as Virgil’s Off-White Jordan 1s. Just like the aforementioned Dunk Lows from much earlier in the year, this new iteration rids itself of any unnecessary materials – creating a much more lightweight product – while still serving its skate-engineered purpose.  Golden yellow highlights on this simplistic Dunk’s insoles adorn a script Nike typeface that also took shape on this year’s earlier set, matching its stitching and outsole stamp. Grab an official look at this deconstructed SB Dunk High below and stay tuned for release updates as well as whether or not a Blazer High will be involved like the Low was back in January.
