A Classic Black And Gym Red Combo Hits The Jordan Spiz’ike

The Jordan Spiz’ike holds a rare distinction in the world of sneakers: it’s one of a select few “hybrid” silhouettes that can boast both a sizeable fanbase and a great deal of staying power. First released in conjunction with Spike Lee back in 2006 and consisting of design elements from the Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 5, Air Jordan 6, Air Jordan 9, and Air Jordan 20, the Spiz’ike offers a loud, maximalist look that many Air Jordan fans still love today.

Although the last few years have been somewhat quiet for the Spiz’ike, it’s begun to surface in a handful of colorways over the last few weeks, the latest of which is this classic combination of black, anthracite, and gym red. The shoe’s heavily layered upper is dressed almost entirely in black, while the anthracite accents arrive on the toe and heel’s elephant print detailing. Bright pops of red arrive on the throat, heel, midfoot netting, and outsole, and a glossy black midsole offers a finishing touch of style. Get a first look at these new Spiz’ikes below, and check out a store list to see where you can grab a pair as well.
