The Nike Air Max 98 Surfaces In A Classic New York Color Scheme

The Nike Air Max 98 Surfaces In A Classic New York Color Scheme

Nike’s Air Max 98 – and under appreciated late-90s darling – has finally been receiving the credit it deserves in the midst of its 20th anniversary campaign. In honor of its inherent connection to that nostalgic time period, the Beaverton Brand is set to drop a color scheme that clearly borrows ideals from the forgone era. Its medial midfoot bumper equips a bold 16-bit, pixelated style “98” hit while its blue and orange insoles offer up a geometric grid pattern resemblant of virtual reality, a trend that reached a boiling point in the 1990s.  Beyond that, this 98 ushers in a decidedly Now York feel, calling upon the signature blue and orange color combination of the New York Mets and the Knicks. A specific release date for the newest 98 is currently unavailable, but be sure to keep it locked for its Nike.com arrival sometime soon.
