Ross Dwyer The adidas ACE 16+ Ultra Boost has lived an interesting life in its time on the market. A laceless, high-top, sock-like take on the Ultra Boost that drew from classic cleats, the soccer-inspired shoe was a favorite of Boost heads and soccer fanatics the world over for an extended period of time before quietly retreating into the shadows. Now, it’s ready for another go-around, as three new colorways have surfaced — bringing back the striking silhouette you know with fresh detailing. Arriving in a standout animal-printed colorway alongside a crisp black and a stately tan, all three shoes boast a thick white Boost midsole and leather heel/collar pull tabs for a premium feel. The loud animal-printed pair continues its maximalist look with a chromed-out gold heel cage, while the other two shoes opt for more toned-down variations: soft grey on the black pair, black on the tan pair. Each pair is then completed with a rugged Continental rubber outsole. If you want to add some football style to your fall wardrobe, each of the three shoes is available on adidas.com now for $220 USD.
