Ross Dwyer Sneakers and photography go hand in hand. With the rise of Instagram and high-tech phone cameras enabling everyone with an iPhone to become an amateur photographer, the two are now more intertwined than ever before. The Three Stripes first acknowledged this mix of subcultures earlier this spring with a new F/22 shoe — and now they’re set to continue their picture-perfect inspiration into the fall and winter with a brand-new F/1.3 hybrid sneakerboot. A mixture of a classic trail boot and a retro-style adidas EQT shoe, the F/1.3 features a 3/4 cut upper for extra stability, while a combination of suede and nubuck ensure that the F/1.3 will hold up adventure after adventure, no matter if you’re taking to the trails or the streets to get a perfect shot. A chainsaw-grip outsole and cushioned midsole then complete the look and also offer exemplary feel/grip. So far, the F/1.3 has released in a tonal “Core Black” and a retro hiker-style “Base Green” — with a seasonal “Mesa” wheat colorway set to drop November 1st — so check out a Where To Buy list below if you’re aiming to add a pair to your rotation.
