Back all the way from 1995, the wavy basketball sneaker that took the court by storm on the feet of superstars the likes of Shawn Kemp and and Shaqiulle O’Neal is set to return later today in a sporty purple, black, and white color scheme. Perfect for today’s maximalist sneaker consumer, the retro-inspired, Reebok Mobius – that never actually released upon its inception over two decades ago – represents Reebok’s disruptive aesthetic from the eye-catching era. While the Mobius may have never touched down at Hoops stockists, its creative design language helped inspired many a Reebok silhouette the likes of Shaq’s Shaqnosis or the iconnic Kamikaze. With white responsible for the majority of this model’s upper, black and purple  take shape on a number of its striking embellishments leading to its dazzling nature that is sure to entice sneakerheads both old and young. Those looking to make a statement on the court the rest of this basketball season will be able to grab these Mobius OGs from retailers starting December 1st.
