Michael Le As the personified little brother to other offerings in the series, the Yung 96 is a much sleeker alternative for Three Stripes fans who enjoy the intricate panelling and somewhat aggressive design found predominantly in the 90s. Holding inspiration from the expansive adidas archive, the 96 takes on a lightweight EVA midsole and Torsion X-bar — calling back to the sportswear label’s performance roots — along an upper of faux suede and nubuck. Keeping in line with many current trends on the market, the bulky, chunky silhouettes bears many different toolings in this 5-part release. With some much bolder than others, the models take on a somewhat common theme with subtle bases of either gray or blue balanced out by bold hits of neon tones. A Triple Black rendition also follows, serving as a versatile option for the feverish minimalist. If you’re looking to get your hands on one of these varied schemes, they will be available for $100 USD at the list of retailers below.
