Originally created to serve as a high-performance distance running shoe, the Nike Zoom Fly SP has managed to become a favorite of the street style set. That’s not easy for a new silhouette to do in today’s sneaker market — where consumers seem to prefer the classics above all else — but the Zoom Fly SP’s striking shape and bold detailing give it a street-ready look that few other performance kicks can offer. Now, the popular sneaker has surfaced in a USA-style colorway: white with red and navy accents. An enormous red Swoosh reaches all the way from the toebox to the ankle, while blue racing stripe detailing and a visible blue midfoot cage under the TPE upper add further pops of style. The look is then completed with navy laces, stopwatch-style embellishments on the heel, and a classy light grey speckle on the midsole. These new Zoom Flys are available now at Japanese retailers like atmos, and will likely arrive at stateside Swoosh stockists soon — so stay tuned for more info as it’s available.
