Nike Is Bringing Back The Air Pegasus 89

It’s been a year of revival for classic Nike Running silhouettes. From the OG Nike Tailwind to the Skylon II — which is also being used for a Fear Of God collab — and more, some of the Swoosh’s speediest archival designs have resurfaced for a second go around the track. The latest pair to toe the starting line for a relaunch? The Air Pegasus 89. The fourth model of Nike’s longest-tenured active running line — which has climbed in number all the way up to the Zoom Pegasus 35 Turbo — the Pegasus 89 is back in black, as the upper features a combo of black mesh underlays and black suede overlays. A large light grey Swoosh appears on the midfoot, and bright blue accents come to both the heel and top two lace holes. A sleek white midsole then completes the look.
