Nike’s Blazer Mid has had quite a year, as its classic silhouette makes it an easy choice for collaboration and obvious pick for many weekly rotations. While 2018 breathed new life into the retro basketball model in the way of deconstructed transformations and avant-garde reimaginings, the upcoming 2019 releases has a lot more in store with the upcoming sacai-lead drops as well as this vintage treating, which is set to hit at the advent of the new year. Reproducing the magic of its originating decade, the Beaverton brand is donning the mid-top a tooling that includes an exposed foam tongue, autoclave construction, and a beautifully yellowed midsole. White, Red, and Sail make up the old school palette and effectively calls back to one of the shoe’s most OG colorway. At a retail of £90, the vintage Blazer is set to hit Nike.com and retailers like 5 Pointz come January 1st.
