Michael Le With Yoon of AMBUSH fresh off her apparel capsule launch with Nike, the multi-faceted designer is gearing for another collaborative work centered on the iconic Chuck Taylor. Accompanying a series of apparel — which aligns heavily with the out-of-this-world styling the shoe itself exhibits — the all white arrangement is quite a new look for the humble Chuck Taylor, raising its foxing and enlarging its cap-toe to pleasing yet comical proportions. Typography hits along the lateral further cement the model next to its winter-ready muse, appropriating the Bunny Boot for something of more lifestyle focus. Some might find the pair to be a bit eclectic for their tastes, though Yoon herself made it clear that these are “for men and women who fell to earth.” With both teams knee-deep in the forthcoming campaign shoot, expect more details to arise on the entire collection very soon with a release likely slated at some time in the coming months.
