Nike Celebrates Chinese New Year With The Air Flightposite One

Joining Nike’s already-stacked slate of Chinese New Year creations in 2019 next is Penny Hardaway’s Air Flightposite One silhouette, boasting the same design language as the revered Foamposite family with a few unique details it can call its own. Aesthetically, this Flightposite ushers in a firework-like motif that comes anchored by a purple and red color scheme with a geometric gird pattern on its throat and ankle collar for a touch of contrast to offset its boisterous shell. For a signature Chinese New Year touch, this hoops-lifestyle crossover ushers in a pair of traditional praying hands on its tongue, a set of Chinese characters on its heel, and a royal hit of metallic gold on its midfoot plate and Swoosh. Official images of the Flightposite One for the Chinese New Year are available below, so give us your thoughts in the comments section and keep it locked for release details as we have them.
