The Nike Air Max 95 Revisits Luxury Themes In “Triple Black Leather”

UK hooligans are gonna love this one. The Nike Air Max 95 — or the “110,” as our friends across the pond say — is continuing its impressive 30th anniversary run with yet another tried-and-true style. It’s not the gradient look that defines iconic pairs like the upcoming Air Max 95 “Solar Red”, but rather one of the more luxurious variety.

Suitable for service workers and Stone Island–wearing blokes alike, the Air Max 95 here comes dressed in a “Triple Black” colorway featuring an all-leather upper. Leather 95s are nothing new, but this newly unveiled pair actually goes a step further than what we’re used to seeing. The upper mesh netting has been removed and replaced by subtly perforated black leather, and the lace loops are now leather instead of fabric. A debossed Swoosh dots the lateral side, while the heel also features a debossed Swoosh in place of the usual “Nike Air.” The only real break from the “Triple Black” theme comes underfoot, where a big bubble Air unit inspired by the model’s original tooling takes on a slight blue tint.

Sneakerheads can often be fooled when judging material quality based on images alone, but dare we say the leather used here appears to be a notch above standard. We’re reminded of the Nike Air Max 95 Lux, an ultra-premium Made in Italy release that later returned via a Supreme collab in 2019, though that version goes a step further with more streamlined leather paneling. In any case, there are sure to be highly sought after.

No release date for the Nike Air Max 95 “Triple Black Leather” has been announced as of this writing, but we’ll update our coverage as soon as that changes. For now, enjoy detailed images below.
