Since its debut in 1985, the Air Jordan 1 has elevated itself atop the industry as the most coveted sneaker on the market. While its original high-top construction is understandably the most revered, its other builds manage to draw acclaim as they are still integral parts of the Jumpman’s first chapter. One of those models that has had an interesting relationship with consumers is the Air Jordan 1 Low. It’s existed as far back as 1985 and has made several appearances over the years (anyone remember the Phat models?), and just a few years ago the brand produced actual OG remakes of the famed Banned, Royal, and Neutral Grey. This Summer, at the peak of the Air Jordan 1 hysteria, the Low is poised to make the most noise it has ever have.
The Air Jordan 1 Low is storming back to shelves in a trio of color schemes, highlighted by a take on the memorable OG “Black Toe”. In an effort to usher in a slightly more lifestyle friendly vibe, Jordan has also opted to equip these three selections with suede finished and tumbled leather – an unexpected nod to the skateboarding community’s adoption of the model into their sport. A stitched Wings logo on the heel with simple Jumpman and 23 branding on the tongue finish off the look. All three pairs of these finely-built Lows are slated to touch down in the Summer months for $110, so grab a detailed look below.
