Paul George And Nike To Celebrate 50th Anniversary Of NASA Apollo Missions With PG3

After first exploring Paul George‘s connection to outer space with a special Nike PG3 “NASA” in January, Nike is looking to the cosmos yet again, as another NASA-styled PG3 is set to drop in April — one that’s inspired by the 50th anniversary of the legendary Apollo missions. Running between July 1969 and December 1972, the excursions put a dozen US astronauts on the moon, and are widely regarded as some of the organization’s finest — and most important — moments. George debuted his new kicks against the Indiana Pacers, and they feature a white and metallic gold colorway, with the former arriving on the upper while the latter graces the midsole and adorns the bold Swoosh graphic. Similar to the last release, they also boast a circular NASA badge on the heel. Stay tuned to our Sneaker Release Dates page for further updates as they’re available, and be sure to keep an eye on PG13, Russell Westbrook, and the rest of the Thunder as they fight for seeding in the NBA’s competitive Western Conference down the stretch.
