Paul George Has All Summer To Hoop In His Nike PG 3 “Iridescent”

Paul George Has All Summer To Hoop In His Nike PG 3 “Iridescent”

After his Oklahoma City Thunder were unceremoniously eliminated from the NBA Playoffs via a cold-blooded 37-foot dagger from Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers, Paul George has a longer-than-hoped-for summer vacation ahead of him. It’s surely a small condolence for the competitive small forward, but at least he’ll have some new kicks for his potential Drew League games/fishing trips, as the Nike PG 3 is set to release in a new “Iridescent” colorway. Bold color-shifting material appears on both the midfoot swoosh and lace overlay for an eye-catching embellishment, but the rest of the shoe displays a welcome propensity for simplicity, combining a black mesh upper with a white outsole. Further details like George’s name on the tongue and the embossed “footprints on the moon” heel graphic then complete the look. These new PGs retail for $110 USD, and release on May 1st in Japan at retailers like atmos before rolling out to global Swoosh Hoops stockists on May 24th. Grab a look at the new style below, and keep it locked here for all your basketball shoe updates — playoff-related or otherwise.
