Off-White x Nike Zoom Terra Kiger 5 “Athlete In Progress” Collection Releases On June 27th

Nike has officially unveiled its next collaborative capsule with design wonder Virgil Abloh called the “Athlete In Progress” collection. Motivated by the unmatched confidence and spirit of track runners who train arduously for the platform, Virgil focused on the individual sport as he was inspired by the aesthetic of runners – so much so that he invited them to walk on his runway for his Spring/Summer 19 show in Paris last Summer. Dina Asher Smith, Vashti Cunningham, Cecilia Yeung, English Gardner, Katarina Johnson-Thompson, Nafi Thiam, Caterine Ibarguen and Rénelle Lamote were all part of that breathtaking showcase.

As part of the “Athlete In Progress” Collection, Virgil reworked the Nike Zoom Terra Kiger 5 silhouette, adding suede overlays, his signature Off-White zip-tie and lettering, and soft rubber spikes that extend from the sole.
