Since first being reintroduced to market this spring, Nike’s Air Max 2 Light has received many a vibrant color scheme, and it’s set to continue that trend into the year’s warmest days with a new purple/crimson-adorned makeup. Bearing many a similarity to the Air Max 2 Light “Court Purple” that released at the top of April, this style offers a slightly lighter shade of the regal tone than its aforementioned predecessor. It also adds a healthy dose of crimson accents on the tongue, outsole, and heel Air Max cushioning unit for extra bright style and a look that can’t help but offer a slight alternate nod to old-school Toronto Raptors uniforms. Crisp white leather overlays, a black midfoot Swoosh, a circular tongue badge, and silver detailing on the heel then round things off. Look for these old-school Maxes to release on Nike.com in the coming weeks with a retail price of $140 USD, and enjoy a gallery of official images below as well.
