Nike Air Force 1 “Solar Flare” By JBF Customs Continues Trend Of Swoosh Transformations

It’s been a rather common theme for Nike to break from traditional Swoosh standards on their footwear lately. Collaborations with Travis Scott and Virgil Abloh featured the signature logo enlarged and flipped. The women’s Reimagined collection saw a bold interpretation dubbed the Jester. Some releases even offered consumers the chance to get wild with the logos with the Air Force 1 “Swoosh” Pack from 2018. Before the brands did it, shoe customizers championed the logo remix, and JBF Customs’ latest “Solar Flare” concept introduces yet another new vision that highlights the Swoosh like never before.

Reconstructed with French Calf leather, this Air Force 1 features a multi-layered Swoosh with each leather platform hand-dyed by knm.leather in another burnt hue. The result is a mix of an elevation and a heat map, with an infinitely expanding check acting as the peak of this concept. Could this be the next hot micro-trend with Nike footwear?
