Closer Look At Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Nike Freak 1 Signature Shoe

Closer Look At Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Nike Freak 1 Signature Shoe

All didn’t quite go as planned for Giannis Antetokoumpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. At the start of the Playoffs, they appeared to be the favorites to reach the NBA Finals, but they were hit with a heavy dose of defense and experience in the Toronto Raptors – a squad that has already pulled out to the 1-0 lead in the championship series. Moreso, Nike had plans of debuting Giannis’ new shoes on his feet sometime during the Playoffs, but that hasn’t occurred and will obviously no longer go down. Still, his shoes, dubbed the Nike Freak 1, are set to launch sometime in August, and today we get the best look yet at the silhouette, with key shots of the heel and sole. You’re already aware of the oversized reverse Swoosh that sits on the midsole, but you’ll find his jersey number embroidered on the upper heel-tab and an incredible traction pattern inspired by roses – a nod to Greek culture and his late father. More details on the Freak 1 are likely to follow, so stay tuned for an update on Giannis Antetokounpmo’s Nike signature shoes.
