With the US Open at Pebble Beach set to kick off this week, Nike Golf has continued their recent run of flamboyant golf footwear with their “No Denim Allowed” pack. A cheeky thumb of the nose to the golf world’s notoriously draconian dress code, the stylish collection is composed of six silhouettes, three of which are more sporty and three more traditional: the Air Jordan 11 G Air Max 1 G, the Roshe G Tour, the Tour Premiere, the Air Zoom Victory Tour, and the Nike React Vapor 2.

Each pair features denim detailing and — except for the AJ11 & Roshe — white leather, an interesting pink “100” graphic that combines a 1 with an infinity sign to nod to Pebble Beach’s 100th year, and a wave-style badge on the tongue as an acknowledgement to the course’s coastal location. Meanwhile, a heaping helping of California wildflower print on the outsoles offers yet another embellishment that’s decidedly un-golf centric. A floral insole with a “No Denim Allowed” text hit then completes the look. Nike is no stranger to bringing denim into arenas that it’s not supposed to “belong,” in as they outfitted tennis star Andre Agassi in denim shorts for the 1988 US Open (the tennis variety, of course). However, this is their first foray into introducing the material on golf footwear, and it’ll certainly bring more style than we’re used to seeing to Pebble Beach’s iconic 18 holes. Although the Air Max 1 and Tour Premiere are both currently sold out, the other silhouettes are available now on Nike.com, and the entire collection will also release via Dick’s Sporting Goods on June 13th. Get a look at all six pairs below, and stay tuned for more eye-catching Swoosh Brand styles you can hit the links in this summer as well.
