Sneaker Freaker Presents The ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Neurotoxic”

Sneaker Freaker Presents The ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Neurotoxic”

Following up May’s GEL-Lyte III “Tiger Snake,” ASICS and Sneaker Freaker have joined forces for another collaborative iteration of the ever-popular heritage running silhouette dubbed the “Neurotoxic.” Although this new style features the same supple brown cowhide leather and black heel overlay/midsole as its predecessor, it’s set apart by its alternate accents. An ultra-bold and vibrant neon green appears on the laces, heel, mudguard, midsole’s speckle detailing, and outsole to fully amplify the venomous stylings. Meanwhile, high-vis reflective detailing on the medial midfoot and a stamped gold logo on the heel serve as intermediaries between the elegant base and the dangerous highlights. These collaborative GEL-Lytes also come complete with special packaging, featuring illustrations from artist Alexander Heir that use slime green ink infused with real tiger snake venom. Although they’re dubbed a friends-and-family release, they’re in fact available now at the SF webstore for $150 USD, so enjoy a detailed look below, and head over to Sneaker Freaker if you’re looking to secure a personal pair.
