Although the Tailwind originally debuted in 1979, the shoe was fairly common throughout the 1980s as both a casual and sports footwear option, and there’s no question that these roamed school hallways in that era. For the collaboration with the hit Netflix show, Nike added a vibrant royal blue and red trim to contrast with cream/off-white upper mesh and suede, while clean white adorns the tongue as well as the outsole.
