Is This Newly Colorblocked Air Force 1 Inspired By Tennis?

Before it was a lifestyle favorite, Nike’s Air Force 1 was a high-performance basketball shoe, but now it’s surfaced in a makeup that seemingly nods to another sport: tennis. Although the silhouette is all classic low-top Force, the embellishments are seemingly more geared towards the hard court than the hardwood, as a mini swoosh and eyelets on the quarter give off a sporty look. There’s also a medley of materials/plenty of interesting paneling present here as well, with the base blending suede and fabric while the eyestays opt for a tumbled leather. Even the color swings towards the NikeCourt side of the spectrum, combining a soft white base with sporty green and stark black accents. A simple white midsole and light grey outsole finalize the look. No matter what sport/activity they’re geared towards, these Nike shoes present an undeniably compelling look, and you can expect them to arrive at the retailers listed below in the coming weeks, so peruse a gallery of official images right here in the meantime.
