Michael Le The classic GEL Kayano 5 OG has come a long way since returning the scene just a few months ago, and with each further iteration, the ASICS staple delves further and further from its once simplistic scheme. Taking on an approach more modern, the forthcoming set opts for blinding tones next to seemingly incongruous neutrals. A base of white leather covers the smooth leathers and mesh of the underlays while the mudguard, heel wrap, and toe cap don a suede in lightened tans. Midsoles follow suit just a tad, leading into color blocked segments of a blue and a darkened gray while incorporating said tones across the upper’s many detailings.
