adidas Debuts New EQT Gazelle Model

The adidas EQT line presents classic ’90s trainers alongside re-worked models suitable for the modern-day street style climate, and now it’s gaining another member: the EQT Gazelle. Although the name certainly conjures images of the classic adidas Gazelle when it first hits your ear, this new model has nothing in common with its highly-regarded namesake. It’s a sporty lifestyle shoe with plenty of old-school Trefoil Brand DNA, and it’s set to arrive in both a Phoenix Suns-esque combination of orange/purple and a bold navy/volt. Each pair features a dual-colored two piece midsole, an angled midfoot Three Stripes graphic, and more branding on the tongue tag/heel tab. However, the most unique design detail here is unquestionably the white leather overlays that creep up from the mudguard before coming to roost as eyelets on the lacing system.
