Sole Classics and Vans embark on their sixth collaboration with a four-shoe capsule that honors the roots and the funk movement and the individuals that blazed the trail for this revolutionary musical movement. Each of these intricately crafted designs mirror a key ingredient to funk, whether it be George Clinton on the Sk8-Hi, Soul Train on the Chukka LX (a masterpiece built with 34 different parts), Bootsy Collins on the Slip-On, or the groovy disco-ball on the platform. Sole Classics has also teamed up with 10-Deep for a limited collaboration that includes hats, tops, bottoms, and other accessories.

The shoes and accompanying collection are available today at an NYC pop-up (Mott and Kenmare) and on June 29th online on Sole Classics and in-store at their Dublin location (Columbus, OH). The first 100 to pick up a pair of the shoes in either location will be gifted with a vinyl album with original music. Full details here.
