The adidas NMD R1 Primeknit Utilizes Overlays Inspired By Technical Outerwear

Once firmly at the top of the game, the adidas NMD R1 returns once more with its ever-signature Primeknit uppers, holding a candle to the days of its peak just a few years ago. Palettes, rather than explore the same neutral blacks with primary tones, is comprised mostly of pastels with vibrant pinks and purples constructing this latest women’s pair. Hits of contrast taping line the bottoms at the rear and gradually decline towards the forefoot, leaving its central weaves of muted pink untouched save for its slightly darker and more open wound. Laces, eye stays, and parts of the caps at the Boost sole follow suit in the lighter shade while the back tab, rear cap, and laid down Three Stripes prefer darker tints. Grab a detailed look at the pair right below and find it rolling out to select retailers as well as adidas.com on September 1st.
