The Nike Air Ghost Racer Returns In Grey Hues For Dad Shoe Lovers

The Nike Air Ghost Racer Returns In Grey Hues For Dad Shoe Lovers

A versatile running shoe that first released in 1998, Nike’s Air Ghost Racer recently returned to market, delighting retro running shoe geeks with its mix of sport and simplicity. Now, it’s set to release in a new “Cool Grey” colorway that should rope another sub-sect of sneaker collectors into the fold: dad shoe lovers. This fresh fatherly take on the late ’90s running gem from the Swoosh Brand mixes multiple grey hues on its upper. A duo of meshes in a soft grey serve as the base, while the suede overlays are dressed in a more earthy grey. The plastic midfoot cage opts for steel grey, while even more shades of grey appear on the abstract leather overlays placed on the upper’s middle and rear. Black midfoot and tongue Swooshes then provide branding. Down below, the still-sleek midsole is split between white and a textured black/grey pattern that gives off some carbon fiber vibes, while the cushioning system is acknowledged by a yellow Zoom Air badge on the outsole. They’ll release for $130 USD on Nike.com soon, so enjoy a full set of official images below while you wait.
