Outfitted for the trail, New Balance readies up its new batch of models with the arrival of the MSCRC, a hiking focused kit that gears to the T in every essential performance upgrade. The silhouette, though quite distinct from the Boston label’s many staples, takes the general shape of something like a 574 though with typical “N” logos completely removed for one of overarching webbing. Mesh base layers add a textural element to the hits of nubuck and synthetic with CORDURA fabric creating a more enduring overall construction. Sole units, which are imposing in its choice of ENCAP REVEAL hardware sees boot-like treads coupled with ADZORB as well as the classic VIBRAM make-up. Three colorways, which include a bright white, dark black, and neutral-leaning multicolor, add variety in typical NB fashion. Grab a detailed look at all three right below and find it rolling out to select retailers on October 5th.
