Michael Le Not ones to shy away from the luxurious, New Balance furthers expands its host of premium materials, testing out a new yet familiar formula along their staple 997. Arriving shortly after their Grey Day celebrations, the pebbled leather iteration deviates quite heavily with a more intentional focus on its fabrication of choice. Rather than opt for the signature shades or show up in vibrant schemes, a deep black lines almost the entirety of the outward presentation with white midsole balancing out the darker shades. Pebbled textures add deep allure along much of the overlays though calling no attention away from the metal played “N” logos that shine in bronze finish if angled at just the right skew.
