NYC-Based Workwear Brand Peels To Release Vans Collaboration

NYC-Based Workwear Brand Peels To Release Vans Collaboration

Though often showing its wild side in patchwork form or through dramatic surgery, the Vans Slip-On remains at its most refined when simple, with upcoming work from New York workwear label Peels doing just that though with their own chainstitched spin. A near perfect translation of their half-zips and work-ready uniforms, the imprint has given the humble silhouette a tour down rockabilly with many of its overt element taking shape throughout. Seemingly faded black suedes at both the toe and heel are reminiscent of notable roughout leathers while base layers at the side bear minimal striping like that of a pinstripe suit or retro shirting. Foxing stripes are entirely removed for a clean, overall look, matching the vintage ethos of the back embroidery, which displays both their signature rose and type logo. Grab a detailed look at the pair as well as the upcoming apparel right here and find it rolling out to select retailers as well as their site come September 15th.
