Bodega And New Balance Team Up Again For A 997S “No Bad Days”

Bi-coastal boutique Bodega put forth one of the year’s biggest surprise hits when they dropped their collaborative New Balance 997S “No Days Off” back in April, and now they’re revisiting the sporty silhouette once again, as they’ve readied a “No Bad Days” makeup. Crafted for everyday wear and conceptualized around the power of a positive mindset, this modernized version of the New Balance 997 features a bold color scheme that blends classic white mesh and supple grey leather/shaggy grey suede with a dimpled teal neoprene collar, black heel, and plentiful pops of yellow, purple, blue, and red. There’s meaning behind the material and consequence under the colors as well, with the construction aiming to present a fresh and refined face, but also show the “results” of its work. This exact ethos is why the suede and leather overlays offer an inverted placement from the aforementioned “No Days Off.” Down below, ABZORB and ENCAP cushioning technologies ensure that the comfort is just as ready for a seven-day workweek as the style is. Special insoles and a three pack of laces complete the look.

These NBs will be available via in-store raffles at Bodega’s Boston and LA locations between Sunday 9/22 and Tuesday 9/24, with winners being notified on Friday 9/27.
