The adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 “Solar Yellow” Is Getting A Retro

The adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 “Solar Yellow” Is Getting A Retro

One of the more inherently sporty colorways from the first batch of adidas Ultra Boost releases back in 2015, the adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 “Solar Yellow” is now set to make a welcome return to market, just a touch over four years after it burst onto the scene with its striking style. The shoe’s Primeknit upper is dressed in a vibrant and vivid volt yellow that the Trefoil Brand has dubbed “solar,” and quickly accented with interwoven black thread on the toebox and midfoot. This construction is held together both literally and figuratively by a yellow and black Three Stripe midfoot overlay and a black plastic heel clip with a pop of silver. As you’d expect from these adidas shoes, a full-length white Boost midsole offers exemplary comfort. The only modification from the initial makeup is a welcome one: the original UB 1.0 outsole nubs that were ground into nothingness after a few wears are gone, replaced instead by a now-standard Continental rubber disc outsole. If you’re looking to stand out from the pack this fall or just want to glance back at the 1.0’s glory days, you’ll be able to do so on October 3rd, when the “Solar Yellow” releases at the retailers listed below for $180 USD.
