Detailed Look At The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Pine Green”

With 2019 being quite the interesting and rebellious year for the Air Jordan 1 — as we were able to see the illustrious COMME des GARCONS imprint take the silhouette through a realm of biker edge, Nike SB add another round of removable paints, and Eric Koston infuse his own childhood memories — 2020 seems to be more of a return to basics with a 1985 redo opening up All Star Weekend and a slew of colorways arriving in classic blocking throughout the rest of the year. Bearing a palette swap of the iconic Bred or Royal, this forthcoming “Pine Green” iteration is of that very school of thought, switching out the aforementioned with noteworthy hits of the saturated hue. Swooshes, ankle flaps, heel wraps, and ankle flaps all follow suit in a tumbled leather, lying just adjacent to black dyes of the same material make-up. Midsoles and treads are white and the titular shade, respectively, matching little of the branded accents as they break up their darker backdrops in a darkened red. Wings insignias are tinted down in level, finishing off a pair that is close to OG but still effectively far from. Grab a detailed look right here at the AJ1 “Pine Green,” and find it set to hit Nike.com and select retailers on February 29th.
