adidas Is Bringing Back The Original Nite Jogger With Fully Reflective 3M Uppers

After dressing its present-day model with a pair of Star Wars-inspired makeovers, adidas is switching gears and diving back into the genesis of the Nite Jogger by reviving its original silhouette through their Consortium division. Notable for being the first running sneaker ever to feature reflective overs, the classic model makes its return in a rather minimalistic colorway, allowing its upgraded toolings to soak in the spotlight. Uppers are dressed with a full reflective exterior designed for nighttime visibility and met with a mixture of suede and leather overlays, followed by a modernized toggle lacing system and mesh-infused throat arriving with a salt-and-pepper aesthetic. A hint of orange taping adorns the medial heel area, in addition to a speckled outsole and insole that features adidas and 3M branding in step-and-repeat fashion to round off its updated design. A closer look is available here ahead, and you can expect these to hit adidas retailers on October 25th for $100 USD.
