Converse Celebrates Product Evolution With The All Star Pack

Making waves long before some of us were even born, Converse and their many legendary silhouettes have turned into something entirely modern and more technologically drive in recent years. Paying homage to their basketball roots while firmly holding on to some of the most iconic schemes, the brand is now bringing about two matching takes of the All Star Pro BB, Chuck 70, and the Pro Leather. The latter, which was the first to feature full-grain leathers and Star Chevron logos, is an era defining piece of kit worn by the likes of Julius Erving, one that has essentially paved the way for the line-up itself while ultimately inciting the creation of their modern performance flagship. Dubbed the “All Star Pack,” each fixes itself to one such palette of white and red: while the precursor stays its iconic mix of smooth leathers its descendent dons breathable synthetics in mesh-like weave engineered for the multi-directional. The canvas staple, however, acts in more subtle departure with parchment fabrications and colored foxing aligning more so with a few mainline appropriations. Grab a detailed look at the entire set right here and find them hitting House of Hoops on October 22nd and then a wider set of retailers and Converse.com on October 24th.
