Despite flipping the iconic scheme to its polar opposite, the pair still retains the many gold details found at the lace stay, outsole, and tongue, though just now on a slightly different backdrop. Whereas the original coupled white smooth leathers with the almost reptilian mudguard, the newest adaptation swaps the former for a textural black nubuck in coordination; soles are then turned to the lighter shade while the carbon fiber within the molds of the arc and small foam “23” divot are largely untouched.
