Michael Le Everyone treats Halloween a little different, and while Nike took it as an opportunity to get spooky, it seems New Balance is going in the complete opposite direction with the debut of their OMN1S in its “Heat Wave” colorway. A vibrant piece relative to the athlete’s prior signatures, the pair is largely a costume of one tone: pink, a nod to either the rising temperature conditions or simply a playful spin on sneaker lingo. Uppers, in their standard mix of synthetic materials, bear only two shades with one much lighter at its base and a pigment of purple at its overlaid features. Straps laid around the collar as well as the laces, lock down, and toe box gradient are near perfect matches of one another with black dyes at the “N” logo and outsole adding noteworthy contrast.
