Michael Le Burgeoning label Pyer Moss — helmed by the New York Born Kerby Jean-Raymond — continues to approach a narrative constantly evolving into something brand new. While first poised to speak on the designer’s childhood and the silhouettes nostalgic of the era, the newer seasons have gone after a motif difficult to explain in so few words. His Reebok collaborations have mostly followed in tandem, touting themselves as numbered experiments with the fourth arguably being the best yet. Dubbed the Trail Fury, the silhouette quickly flew off shelves with its inaugural colorway and it may do the same with its newer “Glory” scheme, a loud palette swap with red and blue tones at the charge. Aggressively saturated mesh bases sit behind an assortment of black-dyed molds and clean smooth leathers in a vibrant sky tone; sole units then balance by way of neutral walls while lace shields and heel pulls brandish with both partner’s namesakes. Among these, a hidden set of text lies at the lateral side’s elastic along the tongue unit, certainly adding in the rising creative’s penchant for activism.
