New Balance Releases A “City Of Angels” Colorway Of The 997

New Balance Releases A “City Of Angels” Colorway Of The 997

Kawhi Leonard surely has much to celebrate this week. The “Fun Guy” not only dropped the latest colorway of his signature New Balance OMN1S, but he also had himself a night at Scotiabank Arena yesterday where he was greeted with a warm welcome by former fans and teammates as he received his third championship ring (not to mention they also blew the Raptors out by 20). Much like the Boston-based imprint executed for last year’s championship parade, the celebrations of Leonard’s recent victories are being translated into more footwear options, as they have just released this brand new Clipper-friendly colorway of the 997 to coincide with his newly released “City of Angels” OMNN1s. The majority of its base constructions are swathed in a buttery black suede, and paired with LA flair by fashioning the double stacked “N” logos in red and blue hues inverted between each foot, followed by the tongue and heel branding that follow suit in similar tones. If you’re looking to add these to your rotation, they are available now on NewBalance.com for $230 USD.
