Jordan Brand’s picking up all the right pieces as it continues to build its exceedingly deep and youthful roster of athletes. NBA insider Shams Charania reports that Luka Doncic, the breakout superstar for the Dallas Mavericks, is close to signing a lucrative multi-year endorsement deal with the Jumpman. Terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed, but this is certainly exciting news for the brand that already has Zion Williamson and Jayson Tatum to carry the logo into the future.
A signature shoe for Luka Doncic would be the first-ever by Jordan Brand for a European born player. Earlier this year, Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped his first Nike signature shoe after a massive MVP campaign. Luka could very well follow suit as his nightly output has garnered him league-wide praise as an elite player for the foreseeable future. For now, expect him to rock the Air Jordan 34 in PE colorways, similar to how Boston’s Tatum has been rotating his own series of one-offs.
