The Nike Air Max Plus Emerges In An “Ultraman” Colorway

Across the board, the Swoosh’s Air Max Lineage has received a powerful push in the midst of this January month as Beaverton continues to leak out more information related to their Sportswear silhouettes both old and new alike. Included on the retro side of things is the classic Air Max Plus, whom after appearing in a futuristic-inspired colorway, is now time traveling its audience back to the late 1960s for an updated makeover that channels a similar personality to the fictional Ultraman series. Although not officially associated with the Tsuburaya Productions show, characteristics of the beloved Science Patrol are called upon as similar robotic hues of royal blue and silver metallics comprise a measurable chunk of its decor that upgrade these Air Maxes with a heroic attitude ready to battle any alien life that tries to destroy Earth. In addition, vibrant flairs of volt an salmon pinks get infused into the midsoles which also somewhat translate similarities of the Ultraman’s eyes and suit accents. You can find an in-depth look here below, and expect these to release in the near future on Nike.com and other affiliated retailers.
