The Nike Drop Type Mid LX Releases In “Dusty Olive”

Inspired by the Nike All Court 2 and other Swoosh-backed tennis models, the Drop-Type Mid appears in a quasi-militaristic look with this new “Dusty Olive” colorway. Offering a lighter palette than its “Legion Green” iteration from last season, the mid-trim silhouette features all the same experimental details signature to Nike Sportswear’s N.354 line, which is inspired by Steve Prefontaine’s fastest mile time; tongues show exposed foam, toe caps are doubled-up, and upper halves are unified with bottom halves via an autoclave construction. Providing some semblance of recognition, swoosh logos at the forefoot and heel revel in the pair’s drab palette, just like the brownish canvas overlays atop olive green nylon padded uppers.
