The Air Jordan 34 SE For All-Star Adds Quilted Leather Shrouds

The Air Jordan 34 SE For All-Star Adds Quilted Leather Shrouds

While many of the basketball silhouettes set for Nike and Jumpman’s 2020 All-Star Weekend lineup are designed through modifications in color, the Air Jordan 34 is the black sheep of the bunch as it instead opts to go with a remix in constructional format. Catapulted back into the spotlight yesterday thanks to the potential Fragment Design collaboration teased by the one-and-only Hiroshi Fujiwara, the basketball model is now being re-structured with elements of luxurious sentiment. The laces are now concealed by a shroud that features quilted leather materials similar to that of the Air Jordan 20-23s, in addition to a zipper enclosure that starts from the forefoot and concludes just before the ankle collars. The color story essentially keeps the same traits of its initial “Red Orbit” makeover, but makes subtle changes it placement as the Eclipse plate is now painted red with a more glossy finish. Additionally, the heel dumps out the traditional Nike Air/Jumpman branding, and instead takes a page out of the Cactus Jack playbook with upside down “Air Jordan” panels, and the insole graphics are now printed with cursive signatures. Be on the lookout for these drop sometime next week on Nike.com, and find a detailed look here ahead.
